Frauke alone in the Fields

The first - even if quite short - trip with one of our own horses.

Of our horses only Tüske and Tücsi are really broken in - and Tücsi has an old injury on one of her hind legs and can probably only be ridden by children.

Because Barot is and incredibly jealous horse and wants to keep constant watch over his mares I am not allowed to take Tüske out of the paddock alone. We also still have no place to tie them up, which makes preparing them on my own for trips pretty hard.

So it took me nearly a month (because that's how long we have Tüske back already) to go on my first trip through the surrounding fields with her.

It was definitely worth the wait, though. It is quite a different feeling to sit on your own instead of a school or otherwise lent horse to explore the fields and meadows all around the village.
